UAE ushers in 2021 with dazzling firework displays

  DUBAI – The UAE ushered in 2021 with dazzling firework shows that lit up the skies from Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah.

Global Village

At Global Village in Dubai, seven firework shows set off from 8pm until 1am as the popular entertainment destination ushered in the New Year in various time zones around the world.

Burj Khalifa

Near the world's tallest tower, Burj Khalifa, onlookers welcomed the new year with a mesmerizing laser show and fireworks. Watch it here:  

Ras Al Khaimah

In Ras Al Khaimah, a 10-minute firework display with 8,500 kg of pyrotechnics lit up the skies above Al Marjan Island to ring in the New Year 2021.  

Abu Dhabi

In Abu Dhabi, the emirate set on breaking two world records for longest and largest fireworks with a 35-minute pyrotechnic show in Al Wathba.

Ajman

In Ajman, the emirate prepared two five-minute long firework displays from Ajman Corniche and next to the Oberoi Beach Resort in Al Zohra.
