The UAE is set to experience a shift in weather conditions this week, with clouds and possible rainfall expected across several parts of the country. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said cloud formations will begin moving in from the west between March 21 and March 24, bringing varying levels of rainfall. Residents can also expect a drop in temperatures in the coming days, along with occasional winds and dusty conditions. Here’s the detailed forecast for the week: Tuesday, March 17 Partly cloudy and cloudy at times with a probability of light rainfall by night especially over coasts, islands and over some northern areas. With a decrease in temperatures, especially Westward. Light to moderate winds and freshening at times causing blowing dust during daytime. The sea will be slight to moderate becoming rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate, becoming rough by night in Oman Sea. Wednesday, March 18 Partly cloudy to cloudy at times with a probability of continuity of light rainfall over some western, coastal areas, and island during daytime, with another decrease in temperatures. Light to moderate Northwesterly winds, freshening at times causing blowing dust, with a speed of 15 – 25, reaching 40 km/hr. The sea will be rough to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea. Thursday, March 19 Partly cloudy to cloudy at times with a probability of light rainfall over some western, coastal areas and islands. Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds freshening at times, with a speed of 10 – 25, reaching 35 km/hr. The sea will be moderate to slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman Sea. Friday, March 20 Partly cloudy to cloudy at times with a chance of rainfall over scattered areas. Temperatures tend to increase. Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds freshening at times, with a speed of 15 – 25, reaching 40 km/hr. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea. Saturday, March 21 Partly cloudy to cloudy at times with some convective clouds, and a chance of rainfall over scattered areas. Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds freshening at times causing blowing dust and sand reducing the horizontal visibility, with a speed of 15 – 25, reaching 40 km/hr.
