UAE weather: Authorities issue fog alert with humidity levels up to 80 percent
According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), the day will generally be partly cloudy. Over some coastal areas and islands, low clouds will appear, prompting authorities to issue fog alerts. According to the warning, there is a chance of fog formation and decreasing horizontal visibility on Friday from 6am to 9am over some western internal areas. Road users have been urged by authorities to drive carefully. The Abu Dhabi Police has also requested that drivers adhere to the fluctuating speed limits on public roads. Temperatures in the country could be as high as 29ºC. Mercury is set to rise to 28ºC in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. However, temperatures could be as low as 18ºC in Abu Dhabi and 20ºC in Dubai, and 10ºC in mountainous regions. There's a chance of mist forming Saturday morning and night over some interior areas. The relative humidity in Dubai and Abu Dhabi will range from 30 to 80 percent. Light to moderate winds will blow, occasionally becoming fresher. The Oman Sea and the Arabian Gulf will have light to moderate sea conditions.
