The UAE's summer season is about to end, and the country will shortly enter the autumnal phase. The start of the fall season is set for Friday, September 23, according to astronomical estimations. According to the Emirates Astronomy Society, the autumnal equinox is scheduled to begin at 5.04 am on the same day. This marks the start of the fall season. Days and nights will be of equal length, which means that sunrise and sunset will be at nearly the exact times in the morning and evening, respectively. The days will grow shorter, and the nights will be longer as the season continues and the nation enters winter. In a recent tweet, Ibrahim Al Jarwan, head of the board of directors at the Emirates Astronomy Society, predicted that autumnal highs would range from 40°C to 20°C. He also forecasted that temperatures in the desert would fall below 20°C. The Suhail star rose at dawn on August 24, marking an end to the sweltering summer heat. It signaled the UAE's transition to autumn. "Gradually, the temperatures will come down," Hasan Al Hariri, CEO of Dubai Astronomy Group, told Khaleej Times in a recent interview. Families are going outside in the evenings now that the weather has started to cool off. Over the past three days, the nation has seen heavy rain and hail, and more is expected. Despite having a year-round warm environment, the UAE experiences three distinct seasons: autumn, winter, and winter. Temperatures typically drop during autumn, making way for cooler weather later in the year.
