UAE weather bureau warns of fog, high humidity

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has warned of a chance of fog and high humidity on Friday night (October 6). According to NCM, humidity will peak at 95 percent in coastal areas and islands, and 90 percent in internal areas. Here’s the weather forecast in the next five days:

Friday, October 6

Fair in general and partly cloudy at times. Temperatures tend to decrease especially Westward and coasts. Humid by night and Saturday morning with a probability of fog or mist formation over some internal areas. Light to moderate wind, and fresh to strong at times especially over the sea causing blowing dust at times during daytime. The sea will be rough to very rough at times especially westward in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman sea.

Saturday, October 7

Fair to partly cloudy and dusty at times. Low clouds will appear over the eastern coast by morning might be convective by afternoon Eastward. Humid by night and Sunday morning with a probability of fog or mist formation over some internal areas especially Westward. Light to moderate Northwesterly becoming Northeasterly winds, freshening at times during daytime causing blowing dust with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 40 Km/hr. The sea will be rough Westward, becoming moderate to slight gradually by evening in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman sea.

Sunday, October 8

Fair to partly cloudy at times. Clouds will appear eastward and southward might be convective by afternoon. Humid by night and Monday morning with a probability of fog or mist formation over some coastal and internal areas. Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds, freshening at times with a speed of 10 – 20 reaching 35 Km/hr. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman sea.

Monday, October 9

Fair to partly cloudy at times. With a probability of convective clouds formation Eastward by afternoon. Humid by night and Tuesday morning with a probability of fog or mist formation over some coastal and internal areas. Light to moderate Southeasterly, becoming Northwesterly and Northeasterly winds, freshening at times with a speed of 10 – 20 reaching 35 Km/hr. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman sea.

Tuesday, October 10

Fair to partly cloudy at times. With a probability of convective clouds formation Eastward by afternoon. Humid by night and Wednesday morning with a probability of fog or mist formation over some coastal and internal areas.
