UAE weather forecast for August 27-31: More rain expected

  DUBAI – More rain is expected in parts of the UAE on Friday (August 28) after parts of the country experienced rainfall of varying intensities on Thursday. The National Centre of Meteorology reported light to moderate rainfall in Abu Dhabi’s Al Wathba and Bani Yas areas, and moderate to heavy rain in Sweihan. In Al Ain, rain also fell on Al Sad area. Thursday, August 27

Hazy to partly cloudy, with chance of convective clouds formation eastward may extend to some internal areas associated with rainfall. Humid night and Friday early morning. Gradual increase in temperature over some internal areas. Light to moderate southeasterly becoming northwesterly winds, freshening during daytime causing blowing dust and sand reducing horizontal visibility. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Friday, August 28

Partly cloudy and hazy at times. Convective clouds form Eastward and Southward by afternoon, associated with rainfall. Humid by night and Saturday morning. Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds, freshening during daytime causing blowing dust, with a speed of 20 – 30, reaching 42 km/hr. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Saturday, August 29

Fair to partly cloudy and hazy at times, with a chance of some convective clouds formation eastward and southward. Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds, freshening during daytime causing blowing dust, with a speed of 18 – 30, reaching 40 km/hr. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Sunday, August 30

Fair to partly cloudy and hazy at times, with a probability of some convective clouds formation southward. Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds, freshening during daytime causing blowing dust, with a speed of 18 – 30, reaching 40 km/hr.
