Residents across the UAE can expect cloudy skies and rain over the next two days, according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM). Light to moderate rain has already fallen in parts of Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah, with more expected in the northern and eastern regions later on Monday (February 17) until Tuesday (February 18).Clouds and a chance of rain
On Monday, the UAE is experiencing partly cloudy to overcast conditions, with temperatures ranging from 23°C to 27°C in the evening. Light rainfall is forecast in parts of Abu Dhabi, including Al Mirfa and Al Dhafra region at around 2pm, with a higher likelihood of rain later in the evening. On Tuesday, the northern and eastern regions, including Ras Al Khaimah, are expected to see continuous light rain and a slight drop in temperatures. Humidity levels will increase inland from Tuesday evening until Wednesday morning, leading to possible fog formation in some areas. Wind speeds are expected to be moderate, ranging from 10 to 25 km/h, but could gust up to 40 km/h, potentially stirring up dust and reducing visibility. Maritime conditions will vary. The Arabian Gulf is expected to be moderate to rough, so boat owners and fishermen should exercise caution. The Oman Sea will have calm conditions, making it safer for marine activities. Residents are advised to stay updated on weather alerts and be prepared for changing conditions over the coming days.
