UAE weather forecast: Dusty days, partly cloudy skies

The UAE weather will be partly cloudy in general this week, with some dusty days and humid nights ahead, according to the National Centre of Meteorology. Here’s the forecast for the next five days:

Monday, February 6

Fair to partly cloudy in general. Humid by night and Tuesday morning over some northern areas with a probability of mist formation. Light to moderate winds. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Tuesday, February 7

Fair to partly cloudy at times, with rise in temperatures. Light to moderate Southeasterly winds, becoming Northwesterly winds, freshening gradually by Wednesday early morning with a speed of 15 – 25 reaching 35 km/hr. The sea will be slight, becoming moderate by Wednesday morning westward in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman Sea.

Wednesday, February 8

Partly cloudy to cloudy at times over the islands, and some coastal and Northern areas, with gradual decrease in temperatures. Humid by night and Thursday morning over some internal areas with a probability of fog or mist formation. Moderate to fresh Northwesterly winds, causing blowing dust and sand with a speed of 15 – 25 reaching 40 km/hr. The sea will be rough to very rough in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate becoming rough by night in Oman Sea.

Thursday, February 9

Fair to partly cloudy becoming cloudy and dusty at times over some Northern and Eastern areas with another decrease in temperatures. Light to Moderate Northwesterly winds, freshening at times, with a speed of 15 – 25 reaching 40 km/hr. The sea will be rough in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to rough in Oman Sea.

Friday, February 10

Fair to partly cloudy and dusty at times. Moderate to fresh Northwesterly winds, and strong at times, causing blowing dust, with a speed of 15 – 25 reaching 45 km/hr. The sea will be rough in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea. ICA/Expat Media | National Centre of Meteorology
