UAE residents can expect some light rain in the northern parts of the country on Friday (January 5), according to the National Centre of Meteorology. The UAE weather bureau also forecasts humid nights to continue, with a maximum humidity of 90 percent in internal areas, and 85 percent in coastal areas and islands. The temperature will continue to be cooler at night, dipping to 8°C in mountainous areas and up to 12°C in internal areas.

Friday, January 5

Partly cloudy at times. Low clouds will appear over some areas especially northward and might be accompanied with light rain. Humid by night and Saturday morning over some internal areas. Light to moderate winds, freshening especially over the sea and causing blowing dust at times during daytime. The sea will be rough to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Saturday, January 6

Fair to partly cloudy and Low clouds will appear over the coasts. Humid by night and Sunday morning over some internal areas. Light to moderate Northwesterly winds and fresh over the sea and causing blowing dust, with a speed of 15 – 25 reaching 40 Km/hr. The sea will be moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to slight in Oman Sea.

Sunday, January 7

Fair to partly cloudy and cloudy at times over some Northern, Eastern areas and islands with a probability of rainfall by late night and Monday morning. Light to moderate Northwesterly to Northeasterly winds, and fresh at times especially over the sea causing blowing dust, with a speed of 15 – 25 reaching 40 Km/hr. The sea will be rough in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in Oman Sea.

Monday, January 8

Fair to partly cloudy and cloudy at times over some Northern, Eastern areas and islands with a probability of rainfall during daytime. An increase in temperatures. Light to moderate Northeasterly to Southeasterly winds, freshening at times with a speed of 10 – 20 reaching 35 Km/hr. The sea will be moderate to slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Tuesday, January 9

Fair to partly cloudy in general. Humid by night and Wednesday morning over some internal and coastal areas. Light to moderate Northeasterly to Southeasterly winds, with a speed of 10 – 20 reaching 30 Km/hr. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea. ICA/NCM/Expat Media
