UAE residents can expect a warm and humid end to June, with the weather taking a typical summer turn marked by rising temperatures, partly cloudy skies, and the possibility of fog or mist formation in the early mornings, especially along coastal and internal areas, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). From Thursday (June 26) to Monday (June 30), the forecast highlights fair to partly cloudy days, with cloud buildup expected in eastern regions during the afternoons. No significant rainfall is forecast at this stage. Humidity levels are expected to climb during the nights and early mornings, increasing the chance of fog or mist formation, particularly in coastal areas. The NCM has urged motorists to drive with caution during these times due to reduced visibility. Winds will be light to moderate, occasionally freshening during the day, and will shift between northwesterly and southeasterly directions. These winds may cause blowing dust in exposed areas but are not expected to disrupt normal activities. Sea conditions will remain generally slight in both the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea, with moderate waves only expected intermittently. Key weather trends: • Humidity peaks at night and early morning with a chance of fog or mist. • Convective cloud formation possible in the east during afternoon hours. • Temperatures to gradually increase heading into the weekend. • Light to moderate winds reaching up to 35 km/h, offering slight relief from the heat.
