Rain is forecast in parts of the UAE beginning on Thursday (February 8), according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). The weather bureau forecast light rain in southern areas of the UAE on Thursday, and rain of varying intensities in parts of the emirates over the next four days. On Thursday, UAE residents can expect cooler temperatures, which will hit a maximum of 25°C in internal areas, and 26°C in coastal areas and islands. Here’s the full weather forecast:

Thursday, February 8

Partly cloudy to cloudy over some areas, especially southward with a probability of light rainfall. Humid by night and Friday morning with a probability of mist formation over some internal areas. Light to moderate wind, and fresh at times, over the sea. The sea will be Moderate, becoming rough at times offshore in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.

Friday, February 9

Fair to partly cloudy and low clouds will appear over scattered areas, especially northward and eastward. Humid by night and Saturday morning, with a probability of fog or mist formation over some internal and coastal areas. Light to moderate Northwesterly to Northeasterly wind, freshening at times, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 35 Km/hr. The sea will be moderate to slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.

Saturday, February 10

Fair to partly cloudy and clouds will increase gradually by night over islands and some coastal areas especially Westward with a light rainfall. Temperature tends to increase. Light to moderate Northeasterly to Southeasterly wind, and fresh at times with a speed of 10 – 20 reaching 35 Km/hr. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.

Sunday, February 11

Partly cloudy to cloudy, accompanied by some convective clouds, associated with a rain of different intensities over scattered areas. Light to moderate Northeasterly to Southeasterly winds, becoming fresh and strong at times with clouds activity, with a speed of 15 – 25 reaching 45 Km/hr. The sea will be moderate becoming rough at times with clouds in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.

Monday, February 12

Partly cloudy to cloudy, accompanied with some convective clouds, associated with a rain of different intensities over scattered areas. Moderate Northeasterly to Southeasterly winds, becoming fresh and strong at times with clouds, with a speed of 20 – 35 reaching 65 Km/hr. The sea will be moderate, becoming rough with clouds in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.
