The weather in the UAE will be generally fair and partly cloudy in the next five days, with a chance of fog and haze, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). Some rainfall is also expected on Monday. The NCM had announced that it will be conducting a series of cloud-seeding experiments throughout September to induce more rainfall in the emirates. Here’s the weather forecast:

Saturday, September 9

Fair in general and partly cloudy at times. Low clouds appear over the Eastern coast by morning. Humid by night and Sunday morning over some coastal areas. Light to moderate winds, freshening at times during daytime causing blowing dust. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman Sea.

Sunday, September 10

Fair in general and partly cloudy at times. Low clouds appear over the Eastern coast by morning. Some clouds may form by afternoon Eastward. Temperatures tend to decrease slightly. Humid by night and Monday morning with a chance of fog or mist formation especially Westward. Light to moderate Southeasterly to Southwesterly becoming Northwesterly and Northeasterly winds, freshening at times during daytime causing blowing dust, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 40 Km/hr. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman Sea.

Monday, September 11

Fair to partly cloudy. Low clouds appear over the Eastern coast by morning, with a probability of some convective cloud formation Eastward by afternoon maybe accompanied with rainfall. Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds, freshening at times during daytime, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 35 Km/hr. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Tuesday, September 12

Fair to partly cloudy. Low clouds appear over the Eastern coast by morning. Convective clouds may form Eastward by afternoon. Humid by night and Wednesday morning with a probability of fog or mist formation over some coastal and internal areas. Light to moderate Southeasterly and Southwesterly becoming Northwesterly winds, freshening at times during daytime causing blowing dust, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 35 Km/hr. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Wednesday, September 13

Fair to partly cloudy at times. Low clouds appear over the Eastern coast by morning. Humid by night and Thursday morning with a probability of fog or mist formation over some coastal and internal areas. Light to moderate Southeasterly to Southwesterly becoming Northwesterly winds freshening at times causing blowing dust, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 40 Km/hr.
