UAE: Partly cloudy days, humid nights to continue

The UAE weather this week will be mostly fair to partly cloudy, with humid nights in general, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). The weather bureau said that humidity will reach up to 90 percent in coastal areas and islands and up to 85 percent in internal areas. It will be hazy in some areas on Saturday and Sunday, according to NCM. Here’s the weather forecast for the rest of the week:

Wednesday, March 15, 2023

Fair to partly cloudy in general, some clouds appear Eastward by afternoon might be convective. Humid by night and Thursday morning over some coastal areas. Light to moderate winds, freshening at times. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Thursday, March 16

Fair to partly cloudy at times, with an increase in temperatures. Humid by night and Friday morning over some coastal and internal areas with a probability of mist formation. Light Northeasterly, becoming moderate to fresh Northwesterly winds, causing blowing dust, with a speed of 15 – 25 reaching 40 km/hr. The sea will be slight to moderate, becoming rough gradually by night and Friday morning in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in Oman Sea.

Friday, March 17

Fair to partly cloudy and cloudy over some western coastal areas and dusty at times. A significant decrease in temperatures especially Westward. Humid by night and Saturday morning over some internal areas. Moderate to fresh Northwesterly winds, and strong at times over the sea causing blowing dust and sand by daytime, with a speed of 15 – 25 reaching 45 km/hr. The sea will be rough in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Saturday, March 18

Fair to partly cloudy and hazy at times. Humid by night and Sunday morning over coastal and internal areas with a probability of mist formation. Fresh to moderate Northwesterly winds, causing blowing dust and sand during daytime and winds will decrease by night and Sunday morning, with a speed of 15 – 25 reaching 40 km/hr. The sea will be rough in the Arabian Gulf and rough to moderate in Oman Sea.

Sunday, March 19

Fair to partly cloudy and hazy at times. Humid by night and Monday morning over coastal and internal areas with a probability of mist formation. Light to moderate Northwesterly winds, freshening at times, with a speed of 15 – 25 reaching 40 km/hr. The sea will be rough to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman Sea.
