UAE weather: Rain, fog and 5-day weather forecast

  DUBAI - The UAE will continue to expect cooler temperatures this week, with some fog forecast at night and a chance of rainfall for two days, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). On Sunday, temperatures will dip to 8 degrees Celsius in mountainous areas and peak at 31 degrees Celsius in internal areas. According to the UAE weather bureau, coastal areas and islands will also experience maximum temperatures at 29 degrees Celsius. The NCM said that on Monday and Tuesday, parts of the country may experience some rainfall as temperatures dip. Here's the weather forecast for the rest of the week:

Sunday, March 8

Fair to partly cloudy and dusty at times, becoming cloudy by night northward. Humid by night and Monday morning over some internal areas with a probability of fog and mist formation. Light to moderate Southeasterly and Northwesterly winds. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Monday, March 9

Partly cloudy and cloudy at times northward with the probability of some rainfall over northern and eastern areas, with decrease in temperatures. Humid by night and Tuesday morning over some internal and coastal areas with a chance of mist or fog formation. Moderate Northwesterly winds in general, freshening at times, causing blowing dust and sand with poor horizontal visibility at times. Winds will reach speeds of 18 – 30, reaching 40 km/hr at times over the sea. The sea will be moderate becoming rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.

Tuesday, March 10

Fair to partly cloudy and cloudy at times eastward with the probability of some rainfall during morning. Humid by night and Wednesday morning over some western coastal areas with a chance of fog and mist formation. Light to moderate Northeasterly to Easterly winds, with a speed of 18 – 30, reaching 40 km/hr. The sea will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Wednesday, March 11

Fair to partly cloudy. Temperatures tend to increase. Humid by night and Thursday morning over some coastal areas with a chance of fog and mist formation. Light to moderate Northeasterly to Southeasterly winds, with a speed of 16 – 26, reaching 36 km/hr. The Sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea. Thursday, March 12 Fair to partly cloudy. Humid by night and Friday morning over some coastal areas with a chance of fog and mist formation. Light to moderate Northeasterly to Southeasterly winds, with a speed of 16 – 26 reaching 36 km/hr. The Sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
