The UAE can expect a wet week as May begins, with the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecasting chances of rain in the next five days. The UAE weather bureau has forecast a chance of light to moderate rain in parts of the country on Wednesday (May 1), followed by chances of more rain on Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Partly cloudy in general and cloudy with a chance of light to moderate rainfall over the Islands and some eastern and western areas. Light to moderate winds, becoming fresh to strong with clouds by Thursday morning, causing blowing dust and sand, reducing the horizontal visibility. The sea will be moderate becoming rough to very rough at times by Thursday early morning in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in Oman Sea.Thursday, May 2
Unstable weather conditions, accompanied by convective clouds with rainfall of different intensities over scattered areas of the country, with a significant decrease in temperatures. Light to moderate Northwesterly becoming Southeasterly winds, and fresh to strong with clouds causing blowing dust and sand, reducing the horizontal visibility, with a speed of 15 - 35 reaching 65 km/hr. The sea will be rough, and very rough at times with clouds in the Arabian Gulf and moderate becoming rough to very rough at times with clouds in Oman Sea.Friday, May 3
