Residents across the UAE should prepare for a drop in temperature and light rain starting Sunday (February 23) through Tuesday (February 25), according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). Following a week of varying rainfall, the UAE weather bureau predicts a shift in weather patterns, bringing cooler temperatures, fog, and increased cloud cover over the coming days. The weather on Saturday (February 22) is expected to be clear to partly cloudy during the day but humid at night with a chance of light fog in some inland areas. Light to moderate northeasterly to southeasterly winds will blow at 10 to 20 km/h, reaching up to 30 km/h. On Sunday, conditions will remain partly cloudy, becoming cloudy and humid by night and into Monday morning. Drizzles are expected in some inland areas, with moderate southeasterly to northwesterly winds at 10 to 35 km/h. Monday will bring a noticeable drop in temperature, along with cloud cover and a higher chance of rain, especially in northern, coastal, and eastern regions. The Arabian Gulf is expected to become rough at times, while the Sea of Oman will experience moderate waves. By Tuesday, the UAE will see dusty and partly cloudy to cloudy conditions, with rain expected in select areas. Winds will strengthen, turning moderate to active northwesterly, reaching 50 km/h offshore. The Arabian Gulf will experience very rough seas, while the Sea of Oman may become rough at times. Authorities have urged residents to stay updated on weather alerts and drive cautiously during foggy or rainy conditions.
