With scattered rainfall expected to continue in parts of the UAE until Wednesday (October 9), the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast the weather to improve by Thursday. According to the weather bureau, conditions are forecast to return to fair by the weekend. However, residents should still monitor weather updates as convective cloud formations could lead to more sporadic showers The UAE has experienced rainy weather in the past few days, particularly in Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and parts of Sharjah. The NCM forecast indicates that rain will be concentrated in the northern and eastern emirates until Wednesday, with a high probability of thunderstorms during the afternoon. "People should avoid low-lying areas, especially near valleys, and exercise caution while driving during rainy periods," a spokesperson from the NCM advised. Abu Dhabi authorities also issued safety advisories for residents, urging them to be prepared for strong winds and heavy rainfall, especially in the Al Dhafra region and Al Ain. Drivers have been urged to reduce speed limits and avoid areas prone to flooding. Although the rain is expected to cause disruptions, temperatures will remain high, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi seeing highs of 39°C. The NCM advised residents to stay indoors during peak storm times and to avoid the sea due to rough waters in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.5-day UAE weather forecast:
