Light rainfall was reported in parts of Dubai on Tuesday (February 18) as the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecast more scattered showers across the UAE this week. Residents in Deira and Al Warqa witnessed light rain in the afternoon, with overcast skies prevailing across Dubai and other emirates. Meteorologists have warned that occasional rainfall may persist until Wednesday, affecting various parts of the country. The drop in temperatures accompanied by cloud cover marks a shift in weather patterns, prompting authorities to advise caution for motorists and outdoor commuters. The UAE’s weather bureau confirmed that the Arabian Gulf would experience moderate to rough seas, particularly as winds pick up in certain areas. The NCM also forecast increased humidity levels at night, with mist or fog formation possible in some inland areas. “Drivers should remain vigilant, especially in low-visibility areas where fog or light rain might impact road conditions,” according to the authority.Five-day UAE weather forecast:
