UAE, Israel sealed driving license agreement in new MoU

H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, and Merav Michaeli, Israel's Minister of Transport and Road Safety, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the mutual acceptance and replacement of UAE and Israeli driving licenses. The Memorandum of Understanding, which was signed at Expo 2020 Dubai on Thursday (March 31), intends to allow inhabitants of the two nations to utilize driving licenses granted by competent governmental authorities in both countries during visits and residence. The MoU provides that driving licenses and replacement licenses issued by the UAE and Israel will be mutually recognized without the need for holders to complete theory or practical examinations.
