UAE’s 100 Million Meals campaign helps 310,000 Palestinians

  DUBAI – The UAE has sent boxes of meals for 310,000 Palestinians as part of its 100 Million Meals campaign. The global humanitarian drive was introduced by Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. In the West Bank and Gaza Strip, the UAE distributed 28 million meals. Some 103,000 people across the West Bank also received e-vouchers worth $2 million. The initiative helped some 17,000 families get food from more than 130 stores. More than 207,385 people across the Gaza Strip also benefited from the UAE’s 100 Million Meals campaign, with 34,564 families receiving help. Over all, the 100 Million Meals campaign has provided meals to 30 countries. It has so far exceeded its target, disbursing 216 million meals worldwide. ICA/Expat Media
