At the UAE Stands with Lebanon aid campaign in the UAE.

The UAE has collected 250 tonnes of essential supplies for Lebanon as part of its massive aid campaign to assist Lebanese citizens affected by the ongoing crisis in the region. Held at Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal, the drive was part of the "UAE Stands with Lebanon" campaign, which launched on October 8. The aid, which includes food, medical supplies, and basic necessities, was gathered under the directives of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with further oversight from Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The campaign saw the participation of over 4,400 volunteers and 24 humanitarian organizations. “The wide participation we witnessed is a testament to the close historical ties between the UAE and Lebanon," said Dr. Hamdan Musallam Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent. "The people of the UAE, regardless of their backgrounds, came together to support those in need." The drive culminated in packing 10,000 baskets of supplies, destined for Lebanese citizens in dire need of humanitarian assistance. The Emirates Red Crescent, along with other key organizations, ensured that the relief will be swiftly delivered. The UAE’s commitment to Lebanon also includes financial aid. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed has pledged $100 million in humanitarian assistance, with $30 million allocated for displaced Lebanese people in Syria.
