The UAE is set to host the 10th edition of the Union Fortress military parade, showcasing the exceptional capabilities of its Armed Forces. The event, under the theme “Pride and Loyalty, Pledge and Allegiance, Security and Prosperity,” will take place on Friday (December 13), at Al Ain International Airport. The Union Fortress parade has become a symbol of the UAE’s dedication to national security, unity, and progress. Over its nine previous editions, it has highlighted the Armed Forces' expertise in defending the nation and maintaining regional stability. This year’s event promises to be a grand demonstration of the UAE’s military prowess, featuring joint operations from various formations. Attendees will witness operations such as hostage rescues, VIP convoy protection, airstrikes on hostile targets, amphibious assaults, and advanced security measures utilizing robotics, AI, and drones. These scenarios reflect the military's readiness to address modern threats effectively. “The Union Fortress is a testament to the UAE’s leadership in empowering our Armed Forces,” a military spokesperson said. “We prioritize advanced training and equipping our personnel with state-of-the-art technology to ensure the nation’s security.” One of the standout features of Union Fortress 10 will be the participation of Emirati women, including the Women’s Rapid Intervention Team and female recruits from the Presidential Guard. Their involvement underscores the UAE's commitment to gender inclusivity in national defense. The event will also serve as a platform to highlight the Armed Forces’ collaborative efforts with other security agencies, ensuring seamless coordination during crises.
