The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast unstable weather conditions across the UAE starting on Saturday (April 4) and lasting until April 10, with chances of rainfall, strong winds, and dusty conditions. In its latest advisory, the NCM said weather conditions will begin to change from Saturday night into Sunday, with partly cloudy to cloudy skies and a chance of light rain over islands and northern areas. From Monday to Wednesday daytime, the weather is expected to become clearer but windy, with active to strong northwesterly winds causing blowing dust and reduced visibility in some areas. Temperatures are also expected to drop during this period, while sea conditions may become rough to very rough at times. The NCM said unstable conditions are likely to return from Wednesday night until Friday morning, bringing partly cloudy to cloudy skies and intermittent light to moderate rainfall over scattered areas. The authority explained that April marks the start of the spring transitional period, when weather conditions can change quickly due to shifting atmospheric pressure systems. “The sun continues its apparent movement northwards towards the Tropic of Cancer, resulting in a gradual increase in daylight hours… alongside a steady rise in temperatures,” the NCM said. Temperatures across the UAE are expected to rise, with typical April temperatures ranging between 25°C and 30°C. The NCM also noted that humidity levels may slightly decrease this month, although fog and mist could still occur, particularly in the early part of April.

Moderate to fresh northwesterly winds, strong at times over the sea causing blowing dust and sand, reducing visibility, with a speed of 15–30, reaching 50 km/hr. The sea will be rough to very rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and rough in Oman Sea. Wednesday, April 8 Partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with a probability of rainfall over some coastal, western and eastern areas. Light to moderate northwesterly to southwesterly winds, fresh to strong at times over the sea causing blowing dust and sand, with a speed of 10–25, reaching 45 km/hr.
