Public voting for the Dakilang Manggagawang Pilipino (DMP) sa UAE 2024 award has entered its final week, with the voting process set to close on September 30. The annual award celebrates the extraordinary contributions of Filipino workers in the UAE, and this year’s top ten finalists are now vying for public support through social media votes. To vote, supporters are required to follow the Pinas Cargo Facebook page, heart-react to their favorite finalist’s photo, and comment with a “DONE + (DMP code)” alongside a screenshot of their reaction. Voting results will play a significant role in determining the final outcome of the competition, with the grand winner set to be announced at a gala event on October 6 at the Knight Castle Hotel. The ten finalists include professionals from a wide range of industries, such as real estate, education, hospitality, and more. Here are the finalists: Keziah Sarah Barbosa – Real Estate Agent, Dubai Jonnel Garcia – Primary Teacher, Ras Al Khaimah Rodel Batugon – Furniture Installer, Dubai Ronald Calub – Administrative Assistant, Dubai Sarah Murillo – Nanny, Dubai Aries Galang – SPED Teacher, Dubai Dan Mark Diokno – Office Staff, Dubai Carla Mae Palentinos – Household Manager, Dubai Jeffrey Paule – Business Development Manager, Dubai Veron Ramos – Chef, Abu Dhabi Since its inception in 2021, the DMP Award has celebrated the selfless contributions of Filipino workers across various fields in the UAE.
