Voting has officially opened for the 2024 Dakilang Manggagawang Pilipino sa UAE (DMP) award, with ten exceptional finalists vying for the title. The public can cast their votes for their favorite finalist until September 30, 2024. How to vote: 1. Like and follow the Pinas Cargo Facebook page. 2. Heart-react to the photo of your chosen finalist. 3. Comment with a screenshot showing your heart reaction and caption it with "DONE + (DMP code)" in the comment section of the photo. From nearly 200 nominees, 20 outstanding individuals were selected through a rigorous deliberation process, and now only ten have advanced to the grand finals. The grand finals will be held on October 6 at Knight Castle Hotel, where the winner will be announced.Meet the finalists

This year’s panelists are Joselito Echivarria, Pinas Cargo’s Brand Ambassador and radio rresenter at Tag 91.1; Dr. Mary Jane Alvero Al Mahdi,CEO of Prime Group of Companies; Ellanie Villena, Vice President of the Filipino Social Club and CEO of Angel Wings International Tourism; Beth Climaco-De Guzman, Marketing Head of Ichiryu Ramen House and Tako Ichiban House; and Marlon Robel, a corporate trainer and life coach. The Dakilang Manggagawang Pilipino award by Pinas Cargo celebrates the extraordinary efforts of Filipino individuals in the UAE, recognizing them in four key areas: best family person, best employee, best community worker, and best spiritual worker. Since its inception in 2021, the award has honored three outstanding UAE-based Filipinos. The first winner, Maryann Paglinawan, a philanthropist and single mother of two, has been known for her dedication to assisting distressed compatriots in the UAE. In 2022, entrepreneur Joemar Tagala, actively involved in the community, took home the award. Last year, teacher Federico Dulla Jr. claimed the title after emerging as the top contender among 300 nominees. Dulla’s win brought him significant recognition within the Filipino community in the UAE.
