  RAS AL KHAIMAH - A quarry worker who fell into a hole and was buried alive in a quarry site in Fujairah has been rescued, officials said on Monday (April 3). The man was working in the quarry site when he fell from a rock crusher and landed in hole that was quickly covered up by a rock slide. Despite being buried underneath the rubble for some time, the man survived and rescuers were able to pull him out to safety. It took rescuers three hours to extract the Asian man out of the rubble. The worker has been admitted to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
