The UAE will come together in a nationwide celebration on December 2 as the 54th Eid Al Etihad team announces this year’s national festivities under the theme “United.” All residents and citizens are invited to join community events, cultural activities and public gatherings held across all seven emirates. To help families plan their day, the organising team has released detailed Celebration Guides on the official website, outlining designated screening spots and community hubs. Abu Dhabi will host the largest number of broadcast areas, including Khalifa City, Al Falah City, Al Shamkhah City, and several Majalis under Majalis Abu Dhabi such as Majlis Al Hawashim, Majlis Al Khatim, Majlis Khalifa City, Majlis Al Shawamekh, Majlis Shakhbout City and Majlis Al Shamkha. In the Al Dhafra Region, screenings will be held at Public Park in Madinat Zayed, Liwa Oasis, Al Shahbana Park in Al Sila’, Harat Parks in Beda Al Mutawa, Delma Island Public Park, Zayed Alkhair Park in Ghayathi, and Majlis Mohammad Al Falahi Al Yasi. Al Ain audiences can join at Al Ain International Airport area, Majlis Al Toiwayyah, Majlis Al Mas’oudi, Majlis Al Fou’ah and Majlis Al Maqam. In Dubai, the ceremony will be broadcast at Al Khawaneej, Global Village and Dubai Festival City Mall, allowing families to celebrate together in some of the city’s busiest community hubs. Other emirates will host their own screenings: • Sharjah: Al Siyouh Park, Kshisha Park • Ajman: Marsa Ajman, Al Jurf Family Park, Al Waraqah Park • Umm Al Quwain: Al Khor Waterfront • Ras Al Khaimah: Corniche Al Qawasim, RAK Flagpole • Fujairah: Umbrella Beach Audiences can also watch the live ceremony from Abu Dhabi in cinemas nationwide, on local TV channels, and via the Eid Al Etihad YouTube channel and official website. The organising team said the celebrations aim to “bring people together in a shared spirit of unity, belonging and national pride,” highlighting the UAE’s long-standing tradition of connecting communities through culture and heritage.
