Rain lashes Ras Al Khaimah

  DUBAI – Heavy downpour caught residents of Ras Al Khaimah and the northern parts of the UAE by surprise on Sunday afternoon (October 16). Motorists were stranded in some areas where floodwater had inundated the roads. No one was reported hurt in the incident. Videos of the downpour posted on social media showed rain-hit areas of Wadi Al Ghail between Sharjah and Fujairah.   The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology said that the rain lasted for about one hour.     According to NCMS, more rainfal is expected on Monday in Ras Al Khaimah and parts of Sharjah.
