Get ready, Sharjah — Will Smith is coming to town! The Hollywood legend will appear as a guest speaker at the 44th Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF 2025) on November 14 at 8pm, taking the main stage at Expo Centre Sharjah. Smith will share insights from his three-decade career spanning acting, music, writing, and entrepreneurship, offering audiences a glimpse into his creative process and lessons on persistence, growth, and success. The Sharjah International Book Fair 2025, organized by the Sharjah Book Authority, opened on November 5 under the theme “Between You and a Book” and will run until November 16. This year’s edition features more than 2,350 publishers from 66 countries and over 1,200 cultural and creative events, including appearances from acclaimed global figures such as Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Carlo Rovelli, and Prajakta Koli. Other notable guests include novelists Paul Lynch, Jennifer Hillier, and Ragnar Jónasson, as well as Filipino poet Luna Sicat Cleto.
