Swiss tennis superstars reaches 11th Wimbledon final, will bid for 8th title

  LONDON – Roger Federer defeated Tomas Berdych in the Wimbledon's men's singles semifinals to make his 11th appearance in the All England Club final. The Swiss tennis great beat his Czech opponent 7-6, 7-6, 6-4 on Friday. Federer will face Marin Cilic of Croatia in the finals on Sunday where he will bid to win his eighth Wimbledon title. If he does, he will surpass Pete Sampras to have the most number of championships from the SW19. A Wimbledon victory will also give Federer his 19th Grand Slam title.
