Got a creative video or animation idea? It could light up the world’s tallest building—and win you Dh100,000. Property developer Emaar has officially extended the submission deadline for the Burj Khalifa Projection Design Competition to June 26, allowing more artists and creatives across the UAE to join this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The competition invites both emerging and established talents to submit original 3-minute videos or animations that reflect Dubai’s spirit of creativity, innovation, and transformation. The winning design will not only receive a Dh100,000 cash prize but will also be projected onto the iconic façade of the Burj Khalifa, offering the creator global exposure and a chance to inspire millions. “Given the overwhelming interest in the contest, this deadline extension allows more creators to bring their vision to life,” Emaar said in a statement. “It’s a celebration of artistic excellence on one of the most recognized landmarks in the world.” Entries must adhere to specific technical guidelines to be compatible with Burj Khalifa’s high-resolution projection system.
