Gamers aged 10 to 35 are invited to show off their skills at the Dubai Police Esports Tournament, happening from August 14 to 17 at the Dubai Police Officers Club. The prize? A whopping Dh200,000 in cash and cool giveaways. “This year’s tournament promises four days of top-tier competition, immersive experiences, and incredible prizes,” Dubai Police announced. The games in this year’s lineup are fan-favorites: Valorant, DOTA 2, EAFC 25 (singles), Counter-Strike 2, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Capture the Flag and Dubai Police Game Jam. But it’s not all button-mashing and high-stakes matches. The event doubles as an interactive gaming expo, where attendees can explore the latest gaming tech, meet UAE’s top players, and even learn about safe and responsible gaming. “Esports is more than a game—it’s a movement. We want to empower youth while promoting digital safety and balance,” Dubai Police said.
