A woman who accused her brother of destroying her relationship with her family by sending an abusive message on the family WhatsApp group had her case dismissed by the court due to a lack of evidence. According to court documents, the Arab woman filed a lawsuit against her brother, demanding that he pay her Dh200,000 in damages for the material, moral, and psychological harm she suffered due to the abusive and insulting message he shared on the family WhatsApp group. She claimed that the message caused misunderstandings with some of her family members and harmed their relationship. During the court hearing, the defendant denied the accusations against him, emphasizing that no harm had been done to the plaintiff. He stated that his sister's relationship with the rest of the family remained positive. The judge at Al Ain Court of First Instance dismissed the lawsuit after hearing from all parties due to insufficient evidence to support her claims. In addition, the woman will cover her brother's legal fees.
