Yemeni teen found hanged in Ajman home

AJMAN - An 18-year-old Yemeni teenager was found hanged in the bathroom of her family's residence in Ajman. An investigation is underway to find out the circumstances surrounding the teen's death. Police said the incident in Al Rowdha area happened on Saturday. A book titled An Unquiet Mind was found in the bathroom where the body was found, said Major General Shaikh Sultan Bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police. Police have not ruled out suicide as the cause of death, and Al Nuaimi said the existence of the book near the body might be a contributing factor. The Ajman Police chief urged parents to monitor their children closely for unusual behaviour or depression.
