Former One Direction star Zayn Malik has postponed the US leg of his “Stairway to the Sky” tour following the shocking death of his former bandmate Liam Payne. Malik made the emotional announcement on his Instagram stories, stating, "Due to the heartbreaking loss experienced this week, I've decided to postpone the US leg of my tour. The dates are being rescheduled for January, and tickets will remain valid." Payne died after falling from a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Wednesday. An autopsy confirmed that Payne died from polytrauma and severe internal and external bleeding. The British singer, who was in Argentina at the time, fell from his hotel room under circumstances still being investigated. Authorities noted that Payne was alone when the incident occurred but had been with friends earlier. Payne’s death has left the entertainment world reeling, with tributes pouring in from "The X Factor" family, Backstreet Boys, and Paris Hilton. "We lost a brother," Malik wrote in a separate post, reflecting on their bond formed during their time with One Direction.
