Zutto Suki Ramen has officially opened its newest branch at BurJuman Mall, marking the Japanese restaurant chain’s third Dubai outlet. The new Bur Dubai location follows the success of its first two branches in Deira and Flayva at Al Ghurair Mall. Zutto Suki Ramen is part of the UAE-based Off The Hook Group, which also operates the popular Off The Hook seafood concept and Potato Corner franchise. Rolly Brucales, Managing Director of Off The Hook Group, said the company sees strong momentum behind the ramen brand and is already evaluating expansion opportunities beyond Dubai. “We are considering expansion opportunities outside the UAE. With the strong reputation we are building through Off The Hook Group, it makes sense to explore new markets where the brand concept can resonate,” Brucales told Expat Media. “This will be done strategically, ensuring we maintain our quality, consistency and brand standards as we grow internationally.” The company is also looking at Abu Dhabi as a key next step as it strengthens its domestic presence before entering overseas markets. The brand’s appeal lies in its mix of affordability, quality and menu variety, making Japanese comfort food more accessible to a broad customer base. “Zutto Suki Ramen stands out by offering a strong combination of affordability, quality and variety, allowing customers to enjoy different choices at accessible price points,” Brucales said. “This value-driven approach, paired with consistent quality and generous portions, makes us appealing to a broad market and encourages repeat visits in a competitive food and beverage market.” The menu features several ramen variations alongside sushi and Japanese side dishes, catering to the UAE’s multicultural dining audience. Global appetite for ramen has continued to grow sharply in recent years. A 2025 study by Japanese analysts at Teikoku Databank found ramen had overtaken sushi as one of the most popular Japanese foods among tourists visiting Japan. Research firm Market Intelo estimates the global ramen market exceeded $68 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach nearly $113 billion by 2034. Brucales said Zutto Suki is focused on maintaining operational excellence as it scales, despite recent pressures in the food and beverage sector. The company is also investing in staff welfare and retention through training programmes, recognition schemes and education assistance for employees’ beneficiaries in the Philippines. “Overall, our goal is to build a motivated, skilled, and loyal team that grows with the brand,” he said.
