2 Indians win $1 million each in Dubai Duty Free draw
DUBAI – Two Indians are now $1 million richer after winning in the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire draw on Wednesday (January 20). This was the first time that two winners were drawn in the raffle. Amit S, 46, from Bangalore won for the first time after buying his ticket online in December. Amit has been participating in the draws since 2016. The Indian businessman said he will be using his winnings to pay off debts and invest in equity trading. He also plans to set up a non-government organization to help the needy. “It will definitely change the whole quality of my life,” he said. California-based Varun Boosnur, 34, is the second to win a million dollars on Wednesday. He bought his winning ticket online on January 1. Varun has been participating in the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire draw since last year. The program manager for Microsoft said he will use the money for charity, to buy a house and also to invest in business.
