A security guard stole Dh58,000 from an apartment building he was assigned to guard using a duplicate key. The investigation began in July of last year when a woman reported the loss of money she had left in her apartment. She stated that she left a sum of money in her bag and left the house. When she returned, she discovered the disappearance of Dh58,000 from her purse. She claimed to have gone over the security cameras installed in the apartment. She later discovered that the guard had broken into her home and stolen the money from her purse. She reported the event to the police, who called the building security and confronted him with the proof. BKM/ Expat Media
