The Hatta sign in Dubai has broken Hollywood’s record and has now been declared the world’s Tallest Landmark Sign. The Hatta mountain marker—which is located on top of the Hajar mountains—measures 19.28 metres tall. The Hollywood sign measures 13.7 metres. The Hatta mountain marker also lights up at night, just like the Hollywood sign. It can be reached after a 30-minute hike from Hatta Wadi Hub. In 2021, Dubai unveiled a mega project to turn Hatta into another tourism hub, with a cable railway, 120km of bicycle paths, and a Hatta Beach that will be home to a lake with a beach area and hotel and leisure facilities.
