Eid Al Fitr 2022 in UAE: Updated operating hours of public parks, recreational areas in Dubai announced

Dubai Municipality has set new operating hours for the Emirate's public parks and recreational areas. From 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., all public parks will be open, including Mushrif National Park, Safa Park, Zaabeel Park, Creek Park, and Mamzar Park. From 8 a.m. to 12 a.m., however, all parks, squares, and lakes in residential neighborhoods will be open. As stated in a tweet from the authority, “We have updated the operating hours in Dubai Public Parks and entertainment facilities so you can enjoy your time with family and friends during Eid Al Fitr."

From 5.45 a.m. to 5.45 p.m., the Mushrif Park mountain bike track will be open. In addition, during the official Eid vacation, from April 30 to May 8, women's days in specified parks would be canceled. Other significant public recreational locations have the following schedules:

Dubai Frame: 9 am to 9 pm
Quranic Park: 8 am to 10 pm
Glass House and Cave of Miracles: 9 am to 9 pm
Children’s City: 9 am to 7 pm
Dubai Safari Park: 10 am to 6 pm, and 6 pm to 12 am.

Government employees will be off for a week during Eid, while private-sector employees will be off from Saturday, April 30, to Tuesday, May 3 or Wednesday, May 4, depending on when Eid begins. All Muslims in the UAE are invited to see the crescent of the month of Shawwal on Saturday evening, Ramadan 29, 1443 H, which equates to April 30, 2022. KMB/Expat Media
