A dramatic surge in passenger traffic at UAE airports and airlines is expected due to Eid Al Fitr. The Abu Dhabi Airport reported that it expects to see more than 500,000 travelers between April 15 and April 23. More than 2,800 flights will serve 105 destinations in 57 countries. Given the high volume of passengers, travel agency Musafir has provided some fast travel advice to assist people in making the most of their brief vacation and prevent any last-minute headaches.

How to enjoy a hassle-free travel

— Use the web check-in options to avoid standing in line at the airport. — To get real-time updates, check your airline's website, the airport's website, or your travel agent's website, or utilize a flight monitoring app. If you're unsure how early you should get to the airport, consult your airline or the airport's website for advice. — Get to the airport at least three to four hours early for international flights. — Before starting your journey, looking up any updates or travel warnings about your location is a good idea. – Reserve a trip with a trusted travel agency. — Purchasing travel insurance is advised since it provides an additional degree of security and safety. — Be sure to include enough of your normal medication for the duration of the trip and some extras in case of emergencies.
