Expo City Dubai opening: Check out some sites you can visit

Expo City Dubai, UAE's first pedestrianized neighborhood, officially opens its doors to the public on October 1. The reopening is the perfect opportunity for Expo enthusiasts to visit the site and relive the wonders of the world fair without the heavy crowds. Check some of the sites you can visit at Expo City Dubai: Terra and Alif pavilions are open to the public with entrance fees of only Dh50.

Alif Pavilion

Located in the Mobility District, the pavilion continues to offer the same experience as it did during Expo 2020. Enjoy and learn about innovations from the Arab region that led to explorations in the ninth century to the modern area. The interactive experience starts with an ancient settlement in the Dubai desert and ends with a glimpse of the future on Mars. Visitors can get a private tour of the most visited pavilion.

Terra Pavilion

This pavilion in the Sustainability District offers the same services as it did throughout the exhibition's six-month run. It is centered on an oval building that is 130 meters in diameter. Surrounding it are a cluster of solar panels dubbed Energy Trees, which resemble rounded sprouts.

Bikes, jogging and walks at Expo City Dubai

Visitors to Expo City Dubai can explore the entire site on foot or by bike because it is the first entirely pedestrianized neighborhood in the UAE. The city's design prioritizes residents' health and fitness by including a 5-kilometer jogging track, a 45,000-square-meter park system, and a 10-kilometer cycle path. BKM/ Expat Media
