7 ways to celebrate International Happiness Day in UAE

In celebration of International Happiness Day in UAE, the country has prepared benefits and discounts for people. This includes free bus rides, fuel cards, and even 50 percent fine discounts. Services run from March 20 to 22. Here are seven ways to celebrate International Happiness Day in UAE:

Free bus service

Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) and the company that runs the internal public transportation system in RAK, introduced the "Free Transportation" project as part of their strategy to promote mass transit. The red, blue, green, and purple routes are the four primary routes served by the public bus service in the emirate.

Free fuel cards to motorists

In honor of International Happiness Day, Abu Dhabi Police and Adnoc gave back to 20 drivers as part of a campaign to promote driving safely.

Cards for drivers without violations

The top 10 'Committed Drivers' who had gone ten years without breaking any traffic laws were given cards from the Majid Al Futtaim Group as part of another promotion for March 20.

50% fine discounts

For a short time, residents of Ras Al Khaimah who may have committed some general violations are eligible for a 50 percent discount on fines. It will take place from March 20 to 22 over three days. Rewards for public transport users

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai issued short text messages to people with a link that allowed them to access prizes, including nol credit, parking credit, and promotional cards that could be used at metro stations.

Entertainment for residents, visitors

Another project, named "Happiness Days Out," was launched by RTA Dubai. This was done in collaboration with radio stations, allowing locals to enjoy a full day of entertainment at Dubai's tourism hotspots and attractions.

Cinema entry cards, gift cards

RTA distributed "Happiness cards," which included 300 Reel Cinema entry cards and Majid Al Futtaim gift certificates. Customer Happiness Center managers gave customers the cards after completing transactions. KD/Expat Media
