How to report crimes, accidents according to police

The Dubai Police have advised residents what to do in case of a minor car accident or if they need to report a crime. The police urged the people to use the Dubai Police app to report any minor road incidents and to obey traffic safety regulations on social media. These are the ways to report such incidents.

Police Eye

The Police Eye service was introduced years ago to let residents report crimes and contribute to the safety of their neighborhoods. The Dubai Police app, website, and police stations all provide access to the service.

Smart Police Stations

Residents and visitors to Dubai can access services digitally, 24/7, and without human interaction at these unmanned police stations. The Police Eye service is available at these stations, where minor car accidents can also be reported.

eCrime

The Dubai Police's special "eCrime" channel is available for reporting cybercrimes. Residents have access to the www.ecrime.ae website. The service is only applicable to offenses committed inside the boundaries of the city of Dubai, according to a disclaimer on the Dubai Police website.

Call center

Residents can report minor offenses to Dubai Police's phone center by dialing 901, intended for non-emergencies. People can call it from outside of Dubai by dialing 04-901. KD/Expat Media
