Pakistani in Abu Dhabi wins Dh500,000 in Mahzooz
DUBAI – A Pakistani man living in Abu Dhabi is now hundreds of thousands of dirhams richer after winning Dh500,000 in the recent Mahzooz draw. Farhan, 43, said that the windfall came as a big surprise, adding that he never expected to win such a huge amount. He has been regularly participating in Mazhooz, and finally got lucky in its 16th live draw on March 13. The Pakistani expatriate said he will use the money to pay for his children’s education and build a house in Karachi. He will also use some of his winnings to pay off some loans. Farhan was one of two winners who took home the second prize of Dh1 million in Mahzooz. The other winner is a 38-year-old Filipina in Sharjah.
