Philippine Embassy in UAE closes on Philippine holidays The Philippine Embassy in UAE Announced on Tuesday (March 21) that they will be closing their office in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 1236 on Philippine Holidays. The Embassy will be closed on April 14 (Thursday) for Maundy Thursday and on April 15 (Friday) for Good Friday. The Embassy has also announced that they will remain open for the 2022 National Election which will happen on April 10 (Sunday). Polls in the UAE will be open from 8 am to 4 pm. Polling stations will remain open until May 9 at 3 pm. Voting on April 11 (Monday) will start at 7:30 am and close at 3:30 pm. On May 9 (Monday), polls will open from 7 am to 3 pm.
