Following SB19’s whirlwind Where You At (WYAT) world tour that took them to Dubai recently, group member Pablo says he hopes to spend more time with his father who is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. “We spend time with him because he is working. Every two years he comes back home,” Pablo said, responding to an Expatmedia.net question at a press conference in Dubai ahead of their concert. Pablo echoed the group’s sentiment when they told Expatmedia.net that they have had to give up time with family to keep up with their rigorous practice and performance schedules. SB19 were in Dubai on October 29 for their first solo concert in the emirate. ALSO READ: What SB19 want more than anything else When asked what he would do if given 24 hours of uninterrupted quality time with family, Pablo said he would choose to be in a simple gathering. “I guess simple lunch and dinner for the whole family. Even at home. It would be better at home because if we go out people recognize us,” Pablo told Expatmedia.net. “It’s better if we spend time with family in a secluded place; talk, have dinner, or lunch, just share  thoughts and life experiences, especially my dad. We don’t talk to him much,” he shared. SB19 launched in 2018 and is composed of Josh (Josh Cullen Santos), Justin (Justin De Dios), Ken (Felip Jhon Suson), Pablo (John Paulo Nase) and Stell (Stellvester Ajero). The group last performed in Dubai at Expo 2020 earlier this year. The group were amateur performers whose dreams of pop stardom became a reality when they were selected in an audition to be part of SB19, which stands for Sound Break 19. The group underwent years of K-pop-style training, which includes slick dance routines to match their unique songs that are wildly popular with Filipinos. After Dubai, SB19 made their US debut with a concert in New York on November 5. They will be in Los Angeles on November 12 before heading head back to Asia for their Singapore concert on November 27.
