Philippine Airlines (PAL) will resume its nonstop flights between Dubai and Manila on October 2, restoring a direct air connection between the UAE and the Philippines after a prolonged suspension. The Philippines' flag carrier announced on Monday (June 29) that it will initially operate four weekly flights on the Dubai-Manila route, with plans to gradually increase services to daily flights as operational requirements allow. The first returning flight from Manila to Dubai will be operated as PR 658 on October 2. According to Philippine Airlines, the resumption of the route is expected to improve travel options for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), business travellers, tourists and cargo customers moving between the two countries. The airline said the restored service will reconnect two of the region's most important travel and commercial hubs while strengthening links between the Middle East and the Philippines. The Philippines also serves as a gateway for travellers from the Middle East connecting to destinations across Southeast Asia and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

Introductory fares announced

To mark the relaunch of the Dubai-Manila service, Philippine Airlines is offering a limited-time introductory all-in roundtrip fare starting from Dh2,740, subject to applicable terms and conditions. Beginning October 2, Philippine Airlines will operate the following flights every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday: Dubai to Manila PR 659 • Departure from Dubai: 7:45pm • Arrival in Manila: 9:10am the following day Manila to Dubai PR 658 • Departure from Manila: 12:50pm • Arrival in Dubai: 6:00pm The airline said flight frequencies are expected to increase progressively toward daily operations as conditions permit. The return of nonstop PAL flights is expected to provide additional travel options for UAE-based Filipinos who regularly travel between the two countries for work, family visits and holidays. Passengers are advised to check Philippine Airlines' official channels for ticket availability, promotional fares and any updates to flight schedules.
