Snow Fun Run in Abu Dhabi: Winners announced

The inaugural Snow Fun Run in Abu Dhabi saw nearly 200 young athletes, aged between 6 and 16, race through Snow Abu Dhabi in a unique and frosty challenge on Saturday (October 19). Organized in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and Abu Dhabi 360, the event challenged participants to complete a 400-meter snow-filled course, collecting tokens along the way and racing against the clock. The fun-filled event drew a large crowd of participants and spectators, with families and friends cheering on the young athletes. The race provided a fun and exciting opportunity for kids to enjoy sports in an unconventional environment, all while staying cool inside Snow Abu Dhabi’s winter wonderland. Event organizers hailed the Snow Fun Run as a massive success and announced plans to hold the event annually. "This was not just about competition, but about promoting fitness and fun for children in a unique environment," said a spokesperson for the Abu Dhabi Sports Council. The winners were awarded medals and prizes, with each age group receiving recognition for their top performers. The event also featured a raffle draw for participants who collected tokens along the racecourse.
