President Erdogan thanks world for aid and support

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan thanked the UAE and other 100 countries for sending aid and support after a 7.8-magnitude hit the country. Erdogan expressed his gratitude in a pre-recorded video message played at the World Government Summit on Tuesday (February 14) in Dubai, where 10,000 international government officials were present, including Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. In his speech, Erdogan highlighted how the disaster "demonstrated the significance of international solidarity" in a world where humanity faces immense challenges. “Today, hundreds of millions of friends and brothers from Africa to Asia, the United States to the Balkans, and Europe to the Gulf region are extending their helping hands to us. I would like to say, May Allah bless you to all my brothers and sisters who, despite their meager resources, have sent everything they have to our country,” Erdogan said.
